BIO

L.A. Calling are a dance rock band, born and bred on the streets of Los Angeles, California. Founded by L.A. native David Corral, the band embodies a sleek yet wild combination of pop rock, with a metal flair and a punk attitude. Influenced by bands such as The Cult and Depeche Mode, L.A. Calling blend genres in their own dark, romantic mix of high energy showmanship and down to earth humanism. They ultimately deliver a hard rock punch that will get your heart pumping, all to a beat you can dance to.
With David Corral in the director’s seat, the band has entertained a revolving door of talented members and guests, including Randy Mathias (Stitched Up Heart), Nick Menza (Megadeth), Trouble Valli (Crazy Town), Gary Myrick (John Waite), Aaron Montgomery (Trapt), Eddie Avila (Oingo Boingo). Over the years, L.A. Calling have also opened for several bands, including Dramarama, Boy George, Cypress Hill, The English Beat, The Fixx, Incubus, A Flock of Seagulls, Rage Against The Machine.
The band moves into the future with a bang as they are set to release a series of new singles throughout 2022, inspired by the different faces of Los Angeles, the city that raised them. Tours to follow, in 2023.
